During E3’s conference today Bethesda spoke about VR’s ability to completely immerse players into their games.
This means that in 2017 Fallout 4 will be available for the HTC Vive, and that Bethesda is showing Fallout 4 as well as Doom on VR immediately preceding the showcase.
In the Doom VR players will get a full tour of hell through the utilization of amazing graphics and true next generation rendering via the Id tech 6 engine. The speaker can be further quoted as describing VR technology as being “it’s ability to immerse players completely into virtual worlds”. This could be eluding to titles past Fallout 4, though no others have been announced yet.
