Blizzard is reportedly developing an HD Remaster of 1998’s Starcraft.
The news comes from a Korean website iNews24, who confirms with multiple sources, that an HD version of the original Starcraft will be announced in September. According to the source, the original Starcraft game will launch exactly as it shipped in 1998. The exception being that the game will include graphical updates and an improved user interface.
In November, Blizzard will announce more details about the game during Blizzcon. While this has yet to be confirmed, we have reached out to Blizzard’s PR team for more information regarding the rumor.
Starcraft and Starcraft 2 is currently available for the PC.
