Fans awaiting details of the World of Warcraft legacy Servers will have to wait some more time.
A statement made on Blizzard’s official forums talked about the possibility of bringing Legacy Servers back to the game, a frequent discussion in the World of Warcraft community. World of Warcraft executive producer, J. Allen Brack stated: “We just wanted to take a moment to let you know that while we’re still discussing the possibility, we won’t have any updates to share on that until after the show.”
Ever since the private server Nostalrius was taken down, thousands of fans took to Blizzard’s forums and social media to express their desire to bring it back. Fans were hoping that Blizzcon would be the stage for Blizzard to announce the return of legacy servers, however, it seems Blizzard has other plans in the works.
World of Warcraft: Legion is available for the PC and Mac.
