Microsoft is celebrating the holidays in Forza Horizon 3 with the Blizzard Mountain expansion, releasing on December 13th, 2016.
The developer warns players to ready up their snow tires as miserable icy roads, and snowy conditions exist in Wintery Austrailia. Besides the cold weather, the Blizzard Mountain expansion includes the following eight new vehicles to drive around in:
- 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
- 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
- 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
- 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
- 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
- 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck
- 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car
Every car in Forza Horizon 3 will be eligible to receive a Winter tire upgrade, to help drivers survive the slippery roads. Xbox Wire notes that the expansion will include more than 50 events, including three new race types: Hill Climb, Descent, and Blizzard. To top is all off, the expansion will add 50 new achievements totaling 500 gamerscore.
Forza Horizon 3 is available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
