World of Warcraft game server Nostalrius will be reopening on December 17th, 2016.
After being shut down by the game’s developer, Blizzard, Nostalrius will be reopening thanks to the people part of the Elysium Project. The Elysium Project is a group dedicated to bringing World of Warcraft back to it’s original “Vanilla” form. They managed to take over the Nostalrius game servers and have announced the reopening early this morning.
Blizzard was in talks to bring an original vanilla server to the masses, but, nothing official has been announced. The last update that we have regarding the legacy servers were that they wouldn’t be talked about during Blizzcon 2016.
World of Warcraft is available for Windows PC.
