Those willing to throw some cash down on the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass will be getting an extra treat: a remastered version of Assassin’s Creed III.
Ubisoft made the announcement via a press release earlier today.
The remastered version of Assassin’s Creed III will include improved gameplay alongside the other elements of a solid DLC pack—one that really justifies the price tag.
Ubisoft has announced two DLC packs included in the season pass, which will be released episodically—the episodes are expected to come out every six weeks.
The first piece of DLC will release this December, and tells the tale of the first assassin.
“This episodic adventure will introduce players to the first hero to wield the iconic hidden blade, changing the course of history,” Ubisoft said in the release. “Players will learn more about the backstory of the Assassins and why they choose to fight from the shadows.”
Those who preorder the game will also have access to extra content at no extra charge.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set for release on October 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The remaster of Assassin’s Creed III will also be available with as a standalone game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC when it goes live in March.
