Day 3 of the Dota 2 International Tournament has passed and with it, all of the previous championship teams have been knocked out, leaving only newcomers the chance to take home the $6.5 Million Grand Prize.
We start off the day with a set featuring compLexity gaming and Virtus Pro, where VP takes the set 2-1. Then the very next set afterwards, Team Secret takes on Invictus Gaming, where Secret comes out a winner by 2-1, despite a bad start to the set. Both teams, Secret & VP, are set to play against each other later today.
In the higher bracket, the first set was played by CDEC and LGD, where CDEC swept LGD with two wins, pushing team LGD into the losers bracket to play the winner of VP and Secret game. After this, Evil Geniuses played against EHome, where in a close set, Evil Geniuses took the series 2-1, proceeding to the next bracket the face against CDEC in the semi finals.
With another exciting day of matches coming out of the International and only eight teams left standing as of this morning, we see the conclusion come near as we approach the final match.
