The Dota 2 International Tournament has officially concluded and the team Evil Geniuses, took home the $6,630,109 grand prize
Incase you may have missed it, the last day of the tournament started with the lower bracket, where teams LGD and Evil Geniuses faced off. Evil Geniuses took the set, leaving it 2-0 and eliminating team LGD from the tournament. After this, the chinese team, CDEC, was waiting for the North American team, Evil Geniuses, so they can kick off the last match of the tournament; It should be noted that either team has yet to win the Dota 2 International, so this match was going to go down in history. In the North America vs China showdown, Evil Geniuses took the set by 3-1, effectively winning the tournament and being named the first North American team to take home the grand prize in the Dota 2 International Tournament.
