Bandai Namco announced that a new update will be released on May 9th for Dragon Ball Fighterz.
The update will release for all platforms, featuring a new co-operative mode called “Party Battle” and plenty of bug fixes to the game. In Party Battle, three players will team up to battle a variety of bosses from the Dragon Ball universe, with each player representing their own character.
Among the bug fixes, an issue in story mode where the defense-up skills are taking effects only the half of what they are supposed to has been resolved. Other fixes for things like Training Mode, in which the training dummy doesn’t guard/unguard properly with Enemy Settings set to Guard First Only has also been adjusted.
Additionally, a new feature included in the new update is FighterZ Cup, a monthly tournament-style competition where players can battle and collect points for their respective Z-Union. The addition of these new modes and bug fixes are sure to streamline the quality of the game. Bandai Namco has a detailed breakdown of all the coming changes on their official Facebook page.
The Dragon Ball Fighterz update is due for release May 9th 2018 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
