Halo 5’s Forge Mode will be making it’s way to Windows 10 PCs on September 8th, 2016.
Forge will launch alongside the new Anvil Legacy Content Pack, which contains two new maps and an assortment of new weapons, attachments, and customization options. The new update also contains a new content browser, for Xbox One and Windows 10 gamers to browse through a selection of popular Forge mode game types and maps. This content update will be released for Halo 5: Guardians and Halo 5: Forge on September 8th.
Announced earlier this year, Halo 5: Forge will contain the same map-making experience featured in Halo 5: Guardians; but for Windows 10 PCs. Maps created in Halo 5: Forge can be play-tested with other players and then transferred to the Xbox One.
The game will be available, free of charge, to anyone who has access to the Windows 10 store. For those with enthusiast-grade hardware, Halo 5: Forge will support 3840 x 2160 (4K) resolutions and will contain support for both the Xbox One Controller and Mouse & Keyboard configurations.
