Just twelve hours after going live on Kickstarter, LunarLux is now 100% funded. Indie developer CosmicNobab Games announced the news, adding some stretch goals, on Twitter. At the time of writing, they are already at $23,542 with 501 backers and 21 days left. So far, they have reached four stretch goals. Two new jet suits, a new spaceship design, and a beach episode are all added to the game’s roadmap.
After a comet made the planet of Terra uninhabitable a thousand years ago, the survivors relocated to the moon, Luna. Fueled by hope and determination, the world’s brilliant minds created terrific new constructs. However, the comet is coming back and bringing monstrous creatures called Murks. Who will save Luna before history repeats itself?
LunarLux is a futuristic game set in 30XX on a terraformed moon. You play as Bella Grey as she fights her way across the moon to find a way to stop the incoming comet. Use your customizable jet pack and spaceship to traverse the moon and interact with every object you come across. Try to befriend rocks. It gets lonely on the moon. Maybe even check every trash can for easter eggs; who knows what this world will hide.
Drawing inspirations from Mega Man Battle Network, use your robot sidekick Tetra to DIVE into networks to help during missions. Unravel the conspiracy and discover who the true villain is when LunarLux releases in Q4 of 2023. This title will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and, if they can reach $40K, the Nintendo Switch.
