Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced that they will be hosting a free trial weekend for the legendary fighting game Mortal Kombat 11. With new content continuously being added to the game, now is the perfect time to try it out.
The Mortal Kombat 11 Free Trial Weekend will allow players to experience all of the multiplayer game modes. The trial also offers the first two chapters of the story mode, for those who dislike only playing multiplayer modes.
Players will have access to the full base game roster, which includes iconic characters like Scorpion. Another feature players will be able to experience during this free trial weekend is the recently added Kombat Pack fighters within the Towers of Time mode, including the Terminator T-800, a character we’ve previously covered.
It’s worth noting that to play the online multiplayer players must have an active PlayStation Plus subscription, or an active Xbox Live Gold membership, depending on their console of choice. However these subscriptions are not required to download the trial or to play the single player content.
Any progress made in this free trial weekend will carry over into the full game. The full game will also be 40% off in the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace during this free trial weekend.
