BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT have revealed the release date for the upcoming TEKKEN 7 DLC, along with a new trailer and screenshots. The new trailer shows off the newest additions to the DLC lineup, Julia Chang and Negan.
Additional details regarding these DLC 8 and DLC 9 characters has been revealed, such as their origin country, fighting style and background. Julia Chang has appeared in the TEKKEN series for quite some time, first appearing in TEKKEN 3. Since then she has gone by different names and appearances. However, she is now returning as Julia Chang. She still uses the fighting styles of Xin Yi Liu He Quan and Baji Quan in what she seeks to be her final fight in TEKKEN 7.
The next DLC character is none other than The Walking Dead’s Negan. Even those who don’t follow The Walking Dead series have probably heard of Negan. He’s the charismatic leader of the Saviors who brought communities together with the motto “people are a resource.” Taking his barbed-wire bat Lucille, Negan joins the roster of fighters in TEKKEN 7 with his own unique fighting style. His no mercy way of fighting truly shows in the newly revealed trailer.
TEKKEN 7 DLC 8 and 9 will be available for Season Pass 2 holders or individual purchase on Feb. 28, 2019.
