Recently, the release date of the highly anticipated title No Man’s Sky has been causing a lot of confusion, and with a title such as this that has already gone gold it’s no wonder that fans are clamoring to find out when they can get their hands on the virtual experience.
The main subject of confusion has been a minor discrepancy between the release date on the official Hello Games website and the Steam listing for the title. Fantastic news, though! The developers at Hello Games were quick to clear up that the PC version of the game will be released 3 days later than the console version, making the official PC release date August 12th 2016.
Developers let the gaming world know the news today through Sean Murray’s official twitter account:
PC NMS release will now be global and will be August 12th worldwide. It’s so important we get it right and make the best version we can

On the bright side, this does give the developers more time to focus on implementing patches to squash bugs and improve gameplay for all.
