Next up from Bethesda Studios is a new Prey title.
Now a couple years back Bethesda was working on Prey 2, but canceled it during its development. This appears to be nothing like the canceled title of 2014, but a brand new endeavor. Raphael came on stage leading us to believe we were about to see some of Dishonored 2 but instead got an almost dystopian style trailer featuring the protagonist Morgan reliving the same day over again, then fighting through what might have been a simulation or fighting off invaders.
From what we can gather from the trailer it is a first person shooter, set in the near future on a space station being attacked by aliens. Its tone sets the stage more for a survival or thriller sort of experience.
Prey 2 was revealed all the way back in 2011 and looked very promising. It featured a large open city revolving around bounty hunting. Hopefully this new Prey title will be able to be enjoyed by the masses in the future. We will see Prey for both the Xbox One and PS4 next year.
