Hi-Rez Studios has confirmed that Smite will launch on August 19th for the Xbox One.
On August 31st, users who have accounts on the PC version of the game will be able to transfer all content; including purchases, favor & XP to the Xbox One. The only thing players will not be able to transfer is gems, Smite’s in-game currency for purchasing additional heroes and skins.
The console version of Smite was announced earlier this year and on March 11th, the Alpha build of the game was released. Since then, the game hasn’t seen too many changes other than bug fixes and tweaks.
While the game will launch for free on Xbox One, gamers have the option to purchase the Founder’s Pack until August 31st. This bundle includes 400 Gems, two exclusive god skins and all present and future gods.
