Soulcalibur VI is getting closer and closer to launch, meaning more announcements for Bandai Namco’s popular fighting game. Today, a brand new character announcement trailer has been released by Bandai Namco featuring returning characters Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na to the newest installment.
For those who don’t know much about these returning characters, here is a quick rundown. Astaroth is a golem with incredible strength and various amounts of martial art experience. Used as a tool for the evil cult he was created by, he seeks a cursed sword and will stop at nothing to find it.
Seong Mi-Na, on the other hand, is a dedicated warrior. After deciding to run away from home due to her father, she stole her family’s most precious weapon, The Scarlet Thunder. Using her training in the art of a longsword, she uses her stolen weapon with ease to take out her enemies. The announcement trailer for both of these characters is shown below:
Both characters, along with many returning favourites and newcomer Geralt from the Witcher franchise, are playable when the game launches later this year.
Soulcaibur VI will launch October 19th, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
