Announced today at QuakeCon 2016, Bethesda has released the beta for Elder Scrolls: Legends, where you can pick up cards and decks from playing the game as well as in-game purchases.
The game itself is similar to Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone. Cards are placed in front of the player and used to either attack the opposing player or used to buff their own forces. It features an expansive single-player campaign, following your character as you travel across Tamriel. After you beat certain parts of the campaign, you’ll be allowed access to the various multiplayer modes. These multiplayer modes can be enjoyed against AI opponents or online with the Elder Scrolls: Legends community.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends was originally revealed as a teaser during the Bethesda E3 2015 Press Conference. It wasn’t until this June when Bethesda made the announcement that the game would be released worldwide this year.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends when released, will be free to play on most iOS and Android devices, as well as Mac and PC. This is an open Beta – Be sure to give it a try here.
