After every major tournament, it’s common to see teams update their rosters especially if said rosters have not been performing as of late. However it is very strange to see the recent updates on the roster changes, which involve arguably the top two teams in the world: Team Secret and Evil Geniuses. As a matter of fact Team Secret had recently won the Shanghai Major itself and Evil Geniuses placed 3rd. However the EG squad took great tournament titles earlier in the year such as The International 5 as well as the Dota Asia Championships.
On twitter it was recently announced that star offlaner Rasmus “Misery” Filipsen as well as 8k pub star midlaner Aliwi “w33” Omar were released from the roster last night.

The twitter page of Team Secret also recently announced that two star players of Evil Genuises will be joining their new squad. 8k star and the most well known Dota 2 player to date: Artour “Arteezy” Babaev, and legendary offlaner: Saahil “Universe” Arora were both showcased as the two new stars to replace w33 and misery on the newly branded Team Secret squad.
We are delighted to announce that @Arteezy & @UniverseDota are joining Team Secret! https://t.co/M1vSEpQtWZ

Team Secret stated during the Shanghai major that the will be obtaining new sponsorships following the major which we are still waiting to see. It was also rumored that Clinton “Fear” Loomis and Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan were leaving the squad but that has yet to be confirmed. We wait in ambition to see how both teams will perform, what players they will acquire, and where their old teammates will venture.
