It’s that time again for another look at this week’s game releases. This time around, we get a franchise that keeps chugging along with Farming Simulator 23. We are also getting a game set in the Warhammer 40k universe and a game set in the League of Legends universe. Rounding out the week is a game that lets you play as the villain and a post-apocalyptic game set in the fantasy world of America.

CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story– Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One
- Taking place in the world of Zaun, you control the time-controlling protagonist Ekko. This 2D action platformer has you using your device to manipulate time. Just be careful, for messing with time doesn’t always work out how you want.
Farming Simulator 23– Nintendo Switch and Mobile
- Another entry in the popular series that has been dormant for three years. Jump in a game with rich agricultural gameplay like farming, animal husbandry, and forestry. Operate over 100 vehicles while you harvest 14 different crops. Say hello to the newest animal to join your farm with chickens. Buy and sell your goods so that you can farm even better next harvest.
Miasma Chronicles– Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One
- This tactical adventure takes you through the wastelands of America as you control Elvis. (No, not the singer.) Discover the mystery of the Miasma with your robot “brother” Diggs and stop the corruption it causes. Using a glove that can control this entity, use a turn-based strategy to avoid being the next one corrupted.
Warhammer 40k: Boltgun– Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One
- Listen up, Space Marine! Chaos is at our doors, and it’s up to you to purge those creatures of darkness. Doom has nothing on you, soldier, so go out there and do your duty! Remember, there’s no such thing as low on ammo, only an opportunity to use your chainsaw!

Evil Wizard– Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One
- How could you be defeated?! Your plan was perfect, yet you were defeated by the power of friendship! Don’t worry. You weren’t killed, so now you can reclaim what’s yours. After all, what’s a better villain for a sequel than the boss the hero thought they already killed?
