Trinity Trigger, the newest JRPG from developer FuRyu, has finally been released. Jam-packed with ‘90s nostalgia while adding a modern twist, this game hits that hole left by years long past. Available for the Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, JRPG fans should definitely pick this up.
Story
Long ago, the Gods of Order and Chaos challenged each other for dominance. Their clashes spilt from the heavens and recked havoc among the realm of Trinitia, leaving powerful weapons embedded in the ground. These weapons are called Arma, and the Gods agreed that they would no longer fight each other but use champions to fight in their stead.
Called “Warrior of the Gods,” these champions must battle with other champions to decide the fate of the world. These warriors use mysterious creatures called Triggers that can transform into unique weapons. You play as Cyan, as he is suddenly chosen to represent….. Chaos!? Travel with your friends Elise and Zantis in a quest to save the world….. and defy the gods.
Features
Use local co-op to solve puzzles and fight enemies while traversing dungeons. Each dungeon resides where the Arma fell. Traverse Trinitia’s diverse biomes looking for hidden secrets that could help your coming battles. Master each of the eight different weapons you can use and change on the fly mid-battle. Each enemy has a weakness, and finding a way to exploit it is the key to victory.
Trinity Trigger is now available for download on PlayStation, PC, and the Switch.
