Twitch is doubling down on its support of indie devs with the announcement of new benefits for Twitch Prime users. Free Games with Prime is a brand-new program gifting five free games every month, starting March 15.
Twitch cites the success of Twitch Prime Indie Amplifier as the reason behind its newest endeavor.
“We’re also happy to announce that all eight titles from the Indie Amplifier program will be made available for free over the next few months,” the company said in a blog post.
The first month is set to offer Superhot, Shadow Tactics, Tales from Candlekeep, Oxenfree and Mr. Shifty as free releases for users during the first month. Twitch says subscribers will be able to permanently keep games unlocked each month.
Free Games with Prime will offer 10 games during its first two months, with Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42 and Dubwars set to join the party in April. Consider signing up to Amazon Prime today to take advantage of Twitch Prime and redeem these games, free of charge.
