Hello everyone, and welcome to Entry Level Games. If you’re a first-time reader here, then welcome. We’re a geek culture site that covers gaming news, VTubers and more.
Another thing we like to do is Q&As with folks all across the gaming industry, from CEOs to Voice Actors. We’ve also done Q&As with VTubers before. In this Q&A, we’ll be talking to a Vtuber named Aurora Rosalia, who just completed their social media takeover of the Veisou Vtuber Group X (Twitter) account.
We had the opportunity to ask Aurora a few questions, have a general chat and get to know them better. You can find those questions below.
Question: What made you get into VTubing?
“I was irl for a good while and I was not enjoying it. I realized streams where I didn’t show my face, I enjoyed way more.
I just became so focus on my looks and I just couldn’t become comfortable with my face being shown while streaming. Then I discovered vtubers and I thought it looks so fun and creative. “
Question: How did you create your look and brand?
“A lot of my look was inspired by fantasy roleplaying games. My eyes from Yuna in FFX and my wings from Xenoblade chronicles.“
Question: What is one activity you’d like to do on stream that you haven’t done yet?
“I would love to have a 3D model and have a dance party or my own concert.“
Question: Who is your favourite VTuber right now, and why?
“I honestly don’t have a favorite I would say. I enjoy to watch many vtubers, I just watch whoever is playing a game that I like. “
Question: What inspires you in the VTuber community?
“I love seeing the different art styles and fashion within the community. I love the toggles people come up with too.“
Question: What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a Vtuber so far?
“Not comparing myself to others growth, I feel everyone has this issue and its so hard to not do it. Like oh I have been streaming for 3 years and this person just started and already is higher in numbers than me.
It’s so hard to not go to that space. But as a content creator its so important to fight myself to not go there.“
Question: What is your VTuber career goal?
“Have my own original music, have concerts, and to be able to financially live off my career.“
Question: What advice would you give to those wanting to become a Vtuber?
“Don’t go right away into an expensive model. Especially if you aren’t sure on your design. Start with something simple and get the feel of streaming and content creation.
Understand that instant success is highly unlikely. Understand that you need to put work into your content to grow and try not to focus solely on the numbers.“
