2KGames announces that XCOM 2 will be delayed until September 27th, 2016.
Announced during their Q1 2017 Earnings Call, Take-Two announced that the console adaptations of XCOM 2 are delayed until September 27th to make sure the game is ready for launch. The game’s original release date was September 6th, 2016, meaning the game was delayed for three weeks. There is currently no information on why exactly XCOM 2 was delayed.
XCOM 2, which was released for the PC in February, has scored well with the critics – with the game receiving an 88/100 on Metacritic.com.
XCOM 2 is currently available for the PC.
