Announced today at PSX, Bungie unveiled that Sparrow racing events are coming to Destiny on December 8th. Guardians will be able to race their friends and foes on Venus and Mars with their very own Sparrow speeder bikes.
Little is known of the details surrounding these new events. What we gathered from the trailer is that it will be a semi-occuring event much like the Iron Banner. It will award you exclusive armor, most likely shaders/emblems and of course new Sparrows. The race tracks themselves look to take place in separate places of the planets. It doesn’t look like you will have the ability to jump into patrol mode and start racing there. It is also not stated that this will be exclusive to PS4, which I doubt it will be.
The Sparrow Racing League will be available to anyone who has purchased Destiny: The Taken King.
