Update: The Super Mario Maker servers are now online!
Super Mario Maker has been taken offline to fix a bug found within the games ‘Create’ mode.
If you have been trying to get online within the last few hours, you may have been greeted with an error explaining that the service is not available. While the maintenance is expected to be completed later today, there is currently no idea on what the bug does or how to recreate it.
Super Mario Maker launched exclusively for the Nintendo WiiU on September 11th, 2015. We recently reviewed Super Mario Maker, giving it a 9/10 for exceeding most of our expectations.
