The Legend of Zelda for Wii U has been pushed to 2017.
While being originally scheduled to launch later this year, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U has been delayed to “improve the quality” as stated by Nintendo’s official Twitter account this morning.

This iteration of Zelda has also been confirmed to be an appearance simultaneously on the Nintendo NX, meaning it is no longer necessary to own a Wii U in order to play the latest Zelda game.
While no release window has been announced, we can assume the game will be available sometime after March, as the Nintendo NX was just recently given a March 2017 release date.
