Kojima Production’s new game, Death Stranding, was teased at Sony’s E3 press conference, with Hideo Kojima himself on stage.
The trailer featured Norman Reedus as the main character in what appeared to be an oil-apocalypse world. Five humanoid beings were floating above a bay in front of Norman’s naked avatar, while dead whales and other large aquatic mammals were beached at his feet. The dead cetaceans all had some very subtle symbolism attached to their stomachs in the form of tubes draining them into the blackened water.
There wasn’t anything definitive revealed for the game and there is no current release date set for Death Stranding.
