Today, Junichi Masuda revealed the new Pokemon: Salandit at the Japan Expo. It debuted through a new trailer, something new Nintendo seems to be doing in regards to the series, as the vast majority of Pokemon in previous generations were instead revealed through the Japan-only CoroCoro magazine, alienating foreign consumers and leaving them to wait for screenshots online.
Salandit is a unique Poison and Fire type, looking to be a cross between a lizard and a crocodile. Along with its unique typing, it sports the ability Corrosion that allows it to poison all types, including Steel and Poison types, both of which are immune to the status condition normally.
