I'm so sorry. @NibrocRock and I teamed up to create the Dr. Mario-leak. It was fun guys! #SuperSmashBros pic.twitter.com/6Co4XJOocN

It seems that the Dr. Mario stage leak was fake. The duo behind the faked images took to Twitter to confess their work. This is disappointing as the fakes look very convincing, but alas, we will not be getting the stage that we were all wanting.
Maybe Director of Super Smash Bros for WiiU & 3DS, Masahiro Sakurai and his team will become inspired to make this a reality! If not, we’ll just tuck these away in the vault of things we want in Smash that we’ll never see.2
Original Story: In a series of images leaked to 4chan, a potential brand new stage for Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U (or Sm4sh if you insist) has been shown, in both normal and Omega variants.
The stage, based on Dr. Mario, seems to possess a gimmick similar to the game it’s based on, with pills of various colors descending from the sky, eliminating viruses of the matching colors that pop up on stage, with the Omega version looking exactly the same, sans the pills and viruses.
According to the rumor, we can look forward to this stage (and more) tomorrow, as part of a new update, along with more DLC being tossed up on the eShop for purchase.
