Sony has officially unveiled the Playstation 4 Slim during their Playstation event in New York today.
The console has already been shown numerous times on the internet, ever since U.K. retailers starting selling the consoles before its supposed release date. After being heavily leaked and in many people’s hands, the announcement of the Playstation 4 Slim should come as a shock to no one.
Sony will be bundling a new Dualshock 4 controller in with the Playstation 4 Slim. The controller features a brand-new lightbar, which can be seen right above the touchpad. Beyond that, there are few minor revisions to the Dualshocker 4 controller, such as the buttons and analog sticks now being gray instead of the original’s black color scheme.
The Playstation 4 Slim will be available starting September 15th, 2016.
