Nintendo will be holding a presentation in Tokyo, Japan on January 12th, 2017, where they will extrapolate on the details for the Nintendo Switch.
The news comes from Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, who revealed the presentation date during a financial analyst meeting earlier today. The presentation will be live streamed worldwide and will include new information regarding the Switch’s features, the suggested retail price, and the official release date. We should also hear more about the Nintendo Switch’s game library during the presentation, which may include appearances from third-party partners such as Bethesda.
Shortly after the presentation date, Nintendo will be inviting the media, partners, and consumers to demo the Nintendo Switch throughout the United States and Europe. The general public is invited to try out the Nintendo Switch at a later date, but there are no specific details regarding this program as of yet.
In case you missed it, Nintendo revealed the Nintendo Switch during a live-streaming event held late last week. More information regarding the reveal can be found in our coverage here.
