Despite no news on bringing new DLC to the Nintendo Wii U, Bandai Namco has announced yet another Pokemon for Pokken Tournament’s Arcade version.
The latest addition to the roster being Empoleon, Sinnoh’s Water-type starter, and Piplup’s final evolution. This comes as no surprise for the Pokken online communities, where a data mine leak revealed Empoleon as well as Darkrai and Scizor earlier this year.

It is not currently confirmed on whether all four DLC fighters will be added to the Wii U, but with the Nintendo Switch releasing shortly, it seems likely that Pokken will receive an updated version with all of the new Pokemon included.
We expect an Empoleon trailer and more information about the Pokemon very soon.
