Niantic announced that they are bringing 80 more Pokemon to their mobile title Pokemon GO.
The Pokemon including in this update include creatures from the series 2nd generation, with gamers likely knowing them from games Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver. The full list of Pokemon to be included in the next update has yet to be shown, but the developers have confirmed that the three starter Pokemon Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile are included with the new update.
More berries are also coming in the new update which will assist the player in numerous ways. The berries will have a different effect than what they do in the core games. For example, the Nanab berry will slow the movements of other Pokemon, making them easier to catch, whereas the Pinap berry will double the number of berries a Pokemon rewards the player for catching.
More evolution items and new customizable outfits are being released as part of the new update, but, no detail was given regarding the specifics. More information about the update is seen in the video below.
Pokemon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
