Nintendo of Japan released a brief gameplay video featuring the Nintendo Switch played in the console’s portable mode. What’s more interesting is that we finally catch a glimpse of EA’s FIFA, which arrives on the platform later this year.
In the video, the game is shown being enjoyed over local multiplayer with another player. It appears as though that both players are using the full Joy-Con setup, with the utilization of the Joy-Con grip included with the Nintendo Switch.
Confirmed earlier, EA’s Patrick Söderlund mentioned that this version of FIFA is a custom experience developed for the Nintendo Switch and will not relate to other platforms. Söderlund said during the Nintendo Switch event in January, “It will deliver the FIFA experience custom-built for Nintendo Switch so you can play anywhere, play with anyone, and play how you want to play.”
