Today’s Thursday, which means another eShop update. This week is pretty sparse in terms of releases, quite possibly because of Thanksgiving, but rest assured, we’ll still highlight them for you.
Wii U eShop
Cutie Pets Jump Rope – With only a grand total of 150 views on the launch trailer, this rope jumping game seems to have flown pretty far under the radar, and maybe with good reason. With very minimal gameplay, and… nothing else besides that, Cutie Pets Jump Rope is a hard sell, but for $1.99, maybe this game by Yazar Media Group can keep your kids (or some drunken friends) busy for a while.
Konami Krazy Racers – This Virtual Console release brings the somewhat obscure racing game to the Wii U. Race as 12 iconic Konami characters, including Dracula and even Gray Fox, in a variety of wacky courses with fun items. When you get right down to it, it’s a Mario Kart clone, but it’s a good one, and a lot better than Mario Kart’s own GBA foray. It’s also only $6.99, so if you’re a fan of the genre, this is an alright and affordable addition to your collection.
3DS eShop
Pet Hospital – Pet Hospital costs $29.99. That’s all I can find on it. Google searches, the eShop entry, even Nintendo’s own website, none of them will tell me what Pet Hospital is, or how it plays. Searching it brings up Nintendo’s blank website entry, a few eShop update articles, and another hundred or so veterinarian sims on the 3DS. Apparently though, it’s a realistic 3D Vet Sim, with 23 procedures and ‘Fur Shaded Animals’, so it’s up to you whether you want to check it out yourself.
Also, I Love My Horse has a demo now I guess, so if you were interested in that, now you can have a chance at giving it a shot first.
