Announced at the Game Awards today, Nintendo’s Splatoon took the award for Best Multiplayer Game.
Beating out games such as Rocket League, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Destiny: The Taken King and even Halo 5: Guardians, a personal favorite of mine.
Released earlier this year, Splatoon took the industry by surprise by offering free multiplayer content and a family friendly multiplayer environment.
