Alongside the release of the new Pokemon TCG expansion titled ‘Ancient Origins’, Nintendo is celebrating with the special Pokemon, Rayquaza, available to those who own a copy of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Pokemon Omega Ruby.
This legendary Pokemon will be available over the Pokemon network via Internet until September 14th. Starting at level 70, Rayquaza will be level 70 with the ability ‘Air lock’ – An ability which negates all weather effects in battle. It’s move-set will consist of Dragon Ascent, Dragon Claw, Extreme Speed and Dragon Dance, most of which are powered up by the held item ‘Dragon Fang’ which is included with the free Pokemon.
In order to receive this Pokemon, you will have to own a copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Once you boot up said game, just head on over to the mystery gift option in the opening menu, select “Receive gift” then finally select “Get via internet” to enjoy your shiny Rayquaza!
