Santa Monica Studio’s God of War is releasing to the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro on April 20th, 2018.
With the release date announcement was the reveal of two different collector’s editions and a digital deluxe edition. First, the Digital Deluxe version of the game will include digital versions of the game’s digital artbook and comic issue #0, both designed by Dark Horse comics. Also included is the God of War Dynamic Theme, a “Death’s Vow” armor set, and the Exile’s Guardian Shield. This edition will be available exclusively on the Playstation Network for $69.99 USD ($89.99 CDN).
God of War’s Collector’s Edition includes everything mentioned in the Digital Deluxe Edition with some physical goodies. Included is a Steelbook case, Lithograph, Cloth map, and Huldra Brothers Carvings. To top it all off, this awesome edition includes a 9″ Statue featuring Kratos and his son, Arteus. This collector’s edition will be available at select retailers for $129.99 USD ($169.99 CDN).
For those the want the ultimate package, the God of War Stone Mason Edition will include everything mentioned above, with even more content. Aside from the impressive statue, Stone Mason Edition purchasers will recieve a Stone Mason’s Ring, Mimir’s Head Talking Keychain, and additional carvings featuring a horse and troll. The Stone Mason Edition will retail for $149.99 USD ($199.99 CDN).
Fans who pre-order their copy of the game will also be treated to a variety of goodies, including a physical God of War pin that will be available immediately after pre-ordering the game. Upon launch, pre-order customers will receive a set of legendary shield skins, to add some flair to our great hero Kratos in game.
