The full details regarding the Nintendo Switch will be announced during an event hosted in Japan on January 12th, 2017. The following day, fans in North America will get their hands on the console during a similar event hosted in New York. Fortunately, the Nintendo Switch will be coming to Canada in the same month.
On January 27th and 28th, invited fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on the Nintendo Switch; two months before it’s official release. Most of the invitees will include members of the press, presumably the Canadian media outlets. On January 29th, the general public is invited to attend the event to get their hands on the console, first-come, first serve basis.
Of course, the Nintendo Switch will demo all across North America. Here are the official dates announced thus far:
- New York City, New York. – January 13th to 15th
- Toronto, Canada – January 27th to 29th
- Washington, D.C. – February 10th to 12th
- Chicago, IL – February 17th to 19th
- San Francisco, CA – February 24th to 26th
- Los Angeles, CA – March 3rd to 5th
Nintendo will have more information as the time approaches, but we have contacted Nintendo of Canada for further clarification. We will update our readers as we hear more.
The Nintendo Switch is due to release in March 2017.
