The long-awaited Pikmin 3DS title was given a name and release date today.
Announced during the Nintendo Direct today, Hey! Pikmin is the all-new Pikmin title coming to the Nintendo 3DS on July 28th, 2017. The game is different from the traditional Pikmin games, where they are usually 3D Adventure based games. Now, with the addition of the 3DS’s touch screen, the 2D platformer comes to life as you control Pikmin with the stylus.
A new Pikmin amiibo was announced to launch alongside Hey! Pikmin, but details regarding functionality have yet to be announced. We will update you as we receive more information.
