Legendary Game Designer Shigeru Miyamoto made the statement that Star Fox Zero is the most underrated Wii U title.
In speaking with GameInformer during E3, Miyamoto reveals that the latest entry in the Star Fox franchise may have been missed and underappreciated by fans.
I think personally Star Fox is a really fun game if you sit down and play it. I think, for example, an elementary school kid who plays it without any preconceived notions, I think it would be really fun for them. I think it’s also really, really fun for siblings to play it together.
Since being released about three months ago, Star Fox Zero has faced a lot of criticisms, especially around it’s forced motion control features. As it stands, the game currently holds a 69 on Metacritic, one of Nintendo’s lowest scoring titles in recent years.
Star Fox Zero was released for the Nintendo Wii UÂ on April 22nd, 2016.
