Nintendo has announced that the next wave of Amiibo figures, including the 30th Anniversary Mario figure, will release on September 11th, 2015.
The amiibo figures, including the 30th Anniversary 8-bit Mario Amiibo, will launch on September 11th alongside the release of Super Mario Maker in North America.
The Amiibo’s which will be available on September 11th are:
– 30th Anniversary Mario Classic Color
– Zero Suit Samus
– Ganondorf
– Olimar
– Bowser Jr.
– Dr.Mario
Nintendo has also announced the ‘Retro 3-pack’ which will include three Amiibo’s: R.O.B., Mr. Game & Watch and Duck Hunt Dog. This pack will release a couple weeks later on September 25th.
Unfortunately, this news seems to confirm that we will not see an Amiibo bundle of any fashion for Super Mario Maker, but we have reached out to Nintendo for further information.
