On July 11th of this year, Nintendo lost one of their most beloved people, Satoru Iwata. Since his death, Nintendo has found a new president in Tatsumi Kimishama, who has held several positions within and associated with Nintendo. Some of his resume includes being Chief financial officer of Pokemon Company Inc, the very 1st President of Pokémon USA, Nintendo of America President until 2006 (when Reggie took over), and Nintendo of America Chairman of the Board until 2013, whom he gave to Iwata.
As President, Kimishama has made a few changes to Nintendo’s upper management, giving new titles to Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto. The now pronounced “Technology Fellow” and “Creative Fellow”, we’re acting as the company’s Senior Managing Directors, in the absence of Iwata.

He’s also taken the liberty of merging a couple of divisions together, like the Intergrated Research & Development Division and System Development Division, to make the Platform Technology Development Division, who are responsible for Nintendo hardware, OS, Development tools, and network.
Another notable merger was the Entertainment Analysis & Development Division and the Software Planning & Development Division, creating the Entertainment Planning & Development Division. The department is in charge of game design and development, the general manager being Shimya Takashi, and the deputy managers being Katsuya Eguchi and Yoshiaki Koizumi.
A new division was also created called the Business Development Division like, which will be in charge of growing the mobile game business as well as any business involving a Nintendo IP.
