Update July 24th, 2015: Sony confirmed via Twitter today that Odin Sphere Leifdrasir will be releasing in the North America. Unfortunately, no other details such as a release date were announced but we hope to hear more regarding the games release in the near future.
Game publisher Atlus and developer Vanillaware have announced a HD Remake of Odin Sphere titled Odin Sphere Leifdrasir.
The remake of this glorious Playstation 2 classic will feature HD graphics, new bosses, enemies, battle actions, animations and maps. Gematsu.com also mentioned that a ‘Classic mode’ was seen in the trailer below, leading some to believe that we may see both the HD remake and the 2007 classic come in one package.
Odin Sphere Leifdrasir has currently only been announced for release in Japan. There is no word on if we will see this title land on retail shelves in North America.
