Sony’s next Playstation 4 update will be going live tomorrow, April 6th, 2016.
The 3.50 System Update will bring along a lot of new features, focusing in on PC remote-play and friends list notifications. A complete breakdown of the included features are listed below:
- Appear Offline – Playstation users can now ‘Appear offline’ for those wishing to game with disruptions.
- Friend Online Notification – Users can now have notifications sent to you whenever specific friends login to their Playstation 4 console.
- User Scheduled Event – Those wishing to create a ‘Gaming date’ can do so by using the new event system. Simply create an event, with a date and time, then invite friends to the event to have a scheduled time to play video games.
- Play Together – The party system has revamped to showcase what other people in the party are currently doing.
- Remote Play for PC/Mac – The meat and potatoes of the 3.50 update. The Playstation 4 will now be able to use it’s remote play feature on PC and Mac’s. Users will have the option to stream game gameplay from their Playstation 4 to their computer with visual resolutions running from 360P to 720p in either 30 or 60 frames per second.
