Sony’s latest financial results have revealed that the Playstation 4 has sold over 29 million units worldwide.
Being nearly two years since the console launched in November 2013, the Playstation 4 has shattered multiple records, even surpassing it’s legacy counter-parts. For reference, the Playstation 2 sold about 25 Million consoles with a two year life span and the Playstation 3 managed to move about 16.6 million units.
With the Playstation 4 taking a $50 price drop recently and the addition of the Star Wars: Battlefront bundle launching next month, the Playstation 4 should be expecting to move a lot more units as we approach the holiday season.
