Niantic Labs’ Pokemon GO has officially become the most popular mobile game ever in the United States.
With over 21 million daily active users in the United States, Pokemon GO has ascended the ranks and surpassed Candy Crush, a mobile title which held the record of 20 Million daily active users. One thing to note is that these numbers are based on the statistics in the United States and doesn’t include data from other countries such as Austrailia, New Zealand, and Germany.
While we don’t have the numbers on hand, Pokemon GO is well on track for becoming the most popular mobile title worldwide, with the current record holder being Candy Crush at 94 Million daily active users.
The activity of Pokemon GO‘s success doesn’t stop there. According to Superdata Research, Pokemon GO has grossed $14.04 Million, just four days after it’s release on July 5th in the United States.
Pokemon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
