Pokémon Rumble World has already seen a release in Japan back in November, and Europe recently in January. Now we have a set date of April 29th for a retail release of Pokémon Rumble World here in North America. Note that it will also be released on April 8th on the E-Shop.
Rumble World will be the 4th game in the Rumble spin-off series of Pokémon. It is a free to play title that focuses on gathering PokeDiamonds as your in game currency. You can receive these by normally playing through the game, receiving them via street pass or to purchase them in game. This time around you will start by playing as your own personal Mii helping a king compete against a magician. The gameplay differs slightly from the other entries in the series, allowing you to go visit new areas in a hot air balloon and discover many different varieties of Pokemon. Additionally, the games levels stray away from the “arena” feel of past games, instead acting more like an actual dungeon with secrets twists and turns and rare Pokémon to discover.
If you’re interested, a ton of Japanese gameplay exists for viewing online, but be sure to stay tuned for our review of the North American version here on Informed Pixel.
