The Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon game demos were released in Japan on October 18th. Since then, data miners from the Pokemon community have been hard at work, uncovering unannounced details of the full game and posting them online. All of the information listed below is a credit to the Youtuber, Kaphotics and his team of data miners.
Warning, if you want to avoid spoilers of the game, including information on what unannounced Pokemon have been discovered, stop reading immediately.
The first tidbit of information regards the Ash-Greninja that will be obtainable in the game’s demo. According to Kaphotics, the Ash-Greninja will have increased stats in Special Attack, Attack, and Speed stats from the original Greninja Pokemon.
According to the game’s Pokedex, there are roughly 800 Pokemon after all is said and done with Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Of these Pokemon, evolutions and per-evolutions of several Pokemon have been found, including several new Alolan Pokemon. Other Alolan forms include a Geodude, Graveller, Golem, Persian, Diglett, Dugtrio, and Pikachu.
Perhaps more impressive is that the previously leaked final starter evolutions have turned out to be 100% accurate. While the final evolution sprites for Litten, Popplio and Rowlett have been revealed, no other details, including the Pokemon’s name and types have been shown. This said, Litten, who now stands on its hind two legs, appears to be a fighting type in addition to its Fire-type.
Last, but certainly not least, is the reveal of eight different “Ultra-Beasts” which will be available for the upcoming games. The sprites of these Ultra Beasts can be seen in the video here. However, it is not yet known if these all of these “Ultra-Beasts” will be obtainable in both games, or if some will remain version exclusive.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will be released on November 18th, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS.
